Our Story
A decade of showing up for each other.
2014
Tara Maxson, LVT, CVPM started the group in May 2014 with a simple pitch: get Austin's practice managers around a table once a quarter and talk about “Real Practice Stuff.”
2019
Tara handed the reins to a volunteer leadership board. The meetings kept going, through new venues, holiday fundraisers, and a pandemic.
2026
AVPMG moved to its new home at avpmg.com. Same group, same mission. The mailing list started over from scratch, though, so re-join if you were on the old one.
