What we collect
Two things, both of which you type in yourself. If you join the mailing list, we collect your email address, plus your first name and practice if you choose to share them. If you RSVP for an event, we collect your first and last name, your practice or hospital, which event you’re coming to, and your email if you choose to add it. That’s the full list. This site has no tracking cookies and no ads.
How we use it
The mailing list gets you AVPMG announcements: meeting invites, RSVP links, CE opportunities, and occasional group news. RSVP info is used for a headcount, so we know how many seats and lunches to plan for, and an email left on an RSVP is only used to reach you about that event, such as a venue or time change. RSVPing does not put you on the mailing list. That only happens if you check the box asking for it. We never sell, rent, or share your information with anyone.
Where it lives
Mailing-list contacts are stored with Resend, the service we use to send announcements. Their privacy policy is at resend.com. Event RSVPs go into a private spreadsheet that only the AVPMG leadership board can see.
Unsubscribing
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can also email info@avpmg.com and we’ll remove you by hand, from the list, the RSVP sheet, or both.
